Job summary

The HEINEKEN Company in Hereford is seeking a Maintenance Planner for Packaging to ensure on-time maintenance plans and efficient packaging lines. You will develop, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective plans, support compliance and budgets, and drive continuous improvement on site.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years CMMS experience in an engineering or FMCG setting, strong planning skills, and familiarity with LEAN/TPM methodologies.

Qualifications

• Time served as an engineer with a recognised qualification (apprenticeship, HNC/HND or degree) with safety training.
• 3–4 years' experience using CMMS in an engineering or FMCG environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills; exposure to LEAN, TPM or CI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage weekly maintenance schedules for packaging lines and related windows.
• Plan and execute annual shutdown plans to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Monitor downtime trends and allocate maintenance work based on priorities.
• Support major breakdowns with planning, resources, and contractor coordination.
• Drive TPM deployment and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
