Recruit4staff are representing an established packaging business in their search for a Packaging Designer to work in Bristol, Yate

  • Pay: Up to £40,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: Mon-Fri, Days
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Enhanced Pension, 25 days plus bank holidays

Job Role: As a Packaging Designer, you will act as a creative strategist leading the design of sustainable packaging from concept to completion. You will gather project data from commercial teams, project managers and directly from customers, create designs in Artios CAD, solicit and incorporate customer feedback, and create prototypes for customer and manufacturing approval. The Packaging Designer needs to be organised, communicate well with both internal and external partners, and be able to work autonomously with respect to deadlines.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Artios CAD and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Advanced operation of CAD Tables and 3D printers
  • Strong understanding of carton manufacturing processes
  • Able to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Willingness to travel 10–20% for internal and customer site meetings
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
  • Degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, Design Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
