Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, mobility, hygiene and mealtimes, supporting activities, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. A compassionate, patient approach and good teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous care home or hospital kitchen experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills under pressure.
• Good communication with colleagues and residents in a professional manner.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving residents' lives.

Responsibilities

• Promote person-centered care for service users.
• Follow care plans and update as needed.
• Follow company policies and safe working practices.
• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting and mobility.
• Care for residents who are sick, minor dressings or bed nursing.
• Support residents with activities to promote mental and physical wellbeing.
• Make and change beds, tidy rooms and keep areas clean.
• Prepare light meals, serve meals, and assist feeding when needed.
• Answer emergency bells, greet visitors, and respond to calls.
• Read/write reports and participate in care team meetings.
