Job summary

Stonehaven Healthcare Ltd, based in Westward Ho!, seeks a capable Senior Night Care Assistant to join Primrose House for 36 hours per week. Qualifications

• Experience in a care home, hospital, or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills with a professional and respectful approach to residents.
• Compassionate and patient nature with a genuine interest in older or vulnerable people.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual handling and cleaning tasks.
• Positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents and assist in daily living activities and mobility.
• Assist in developing individual care plans including nutritional needs and continence management.
• Help residents with dressing, bathing, and toilet, and assist with the use of aids and equipment.
• Support residents who are temporarily sick and manage minor dressings as needed.
• Be mindful of health and safety regulations and report issues to the Care Home Manager.
• Answer call bells, welcome visitors, and liaise with residents and relatives as required.
• Undertake other responsibilities at the request of the Care Home Manager.
