Job summary

Resicare Alliance Children's Care is seeking a Waking Night Residential Support Worker to provide overnight care and safeguarding for the children and young people living in our residential home. You will be the constant, reassuring presence through the night, helping each child feel safe, secure and supported until morning.

In this role you will conduct welfare checks, follow care plans, manage emergencies, and work closely with families, social workers, and day staff.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Ability to work nights and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight care and safeguarding for children and young people.
• Carry out welfare checks in line with care plans.
• Record observations and complete night reports accurately.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns or emergencies promptly.
• Work with families, social workers and day staff to ensure continuity of care.
