Job summary

GXO Logistics Ltd is recruiting a full-time Class 2 driver for overnight deliveries from Portbury (BS20 7XE). You will join a two-person team, work 48 hours across 4–5 days with start times between 12:00 and 16:00, and benefit from holiday entitlement, staff discounts, and performance bonuses. Training and DCPC licensing opportunities are provided.

The role emphasizes safe driving, on-time delivery, and high-quality customer service within a supportive, market-leading logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Digital Tachograph Card holder.
• No more than 6 current penalty points; no disqualifying endorsements in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight deliveries as part of a two-person crew.
• Ensure accurate, timely movement of goods to stores.
• Handle stock handover from vehicle to store and collect returns.
• Maintain store keys and alarm codes responsibility.
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service.
• Comply with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive.
