Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver to join the Northampton team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work a 48-hour week on a 4 on, 2 off pattern with start times between 04:00 and 06:00, delivering and collecting for Clicklink.

You will perform vehicle safety checks, complete delivery paperwork, and uphold GXO safety standards while maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients. A valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and knowledge of WMS/MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (excluding DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT).
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative.
• Computer literate, experience of WMS systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and collections on customer premises for a variety of clients.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report defects to transport team; ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Comply with GXO Health & Safety policies and transport legislation.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
