Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver at our Sherburn In Elmet site (LS25 6PT). You’ll deliver pallets, cages and dollies to commercial and retail premises using 18T and 7.5T rigid vehicles, with full training provided to support your progression and confidence on the road.

The role is full-time and permanent, 48 hours per week, five days out of seven, with early starts between 03:00 and 07:00.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• Less than six points on your licence and no major endorsements (DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC, TT).
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver deliveries to stores using handheld terminal (HHT) technology, scanning deliveries, recording Proof of Delivery and managing returns or collections.
• Trailers will be preloaded by the warehouse team; driver will receive delivery details and keys from Transport admin.
• Carry out daily walk-around checks and report defects to Transport team.
• Follow planned multi-drop routes, ensuring timely, safe deliveries with high customer service.
