Job summary

GXO South Normanton is seeking a Class 2 Driver on a full-time permanent basis, 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times from 4:00 am.

You’ll carry out multidrop deliveries to retail stores and distribution points, ensure timely and safe deliveries, and provide excellent customer service at each drop. GXO provides benefits, training via GXO University, and a company pension.

Qualifications

• A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• ADR licence for tanks. All classes except 1 and 7 may be required.
• Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) in good standing.
• Digital Tachograph Card must be held.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Multidrop deliveries to retail stores and distribution points.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods and provide excellent customer service at every drop.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service during all deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delays, issues or changes.
• Perform vehicle checks and keep delivery records.
• Occasionally perform warehouse duties as needed.
