Job summary

GXO Logistics in Portbury is seeking a Class 2 driver for overnight deliveries in a two-person crew. The role covers handball of stock, handling store keys and alarm codes, and delivering excellent customer service with strict adherence to Drivers Hours and Working Time rules.

The role offers 48 hours per week, with 4 or 5 days across Sunday to Thursday, start times between 12:00 and 16:00, and a comprehensive benefits package including holiday entitlement and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight deliveries as part of a two-person crew, ensuring accurate, timely movement of customers’ products.
• Handball stock from vehicle to store and collect returns.
• Hold responsibility for store keys and alarm codes.
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service.
• Comply with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Be flexible with start times as needed by the business.
