Job summary

GXO Logistics Ltd is recruiting a full-time Class 2 driver for overnight deliveries from Portbury (BS20 7XE). You will join a two-person team, work 48 hours across 4–5 days with start times between 12:00 and 16:00, and benefit from holiday entitlement, staff discounts, and performance bonuses. Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight deliveries as part of a two-person crew.
• Ensure accurate, timely movement of goods to stores.
• Handle stock handover from vehicle to store and collect returns.
• Maintain store keys and alarm codes responsibility.
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service.
• Comply with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive.

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 driver to join our overnight delivery team in Portbury, BS20 7XE for our customer, New Look, BS20 7XE.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week, working 4 or 5 days between Sunday to Thursday start times between 12:00 - 16:00.

£38,329.20 per annum

28 days holiday entitlement, inclusive of Bank holidays and increases with length of service!

What you'll do on a typical day:

Conduct overnight deliveries as part of a two-person crew, ensuring accurate, timely movement of our customers' products

Handball stock in the correct manner from vehicle to store and collect returns

Hold responsibility for store keys and alarm codes

Providing excellent face-to-face customer service to customer

Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements

A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business

What you need to succeed at GXO:

A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement

A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)

Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card

No more than 6 current penalty points

No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
