Job summary
Konecranes Demag UK Ltd is seeking an electrically qualified Crane Service Engineer to work across Liverpool, Warrington or Manchester. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes, diagnose faults, and advise customers on safety matters.
The role reports to the Operations Manager and includes paid overtime, travel time, and a company van. We offer a competitive salary with OTE (£55k-65K), generous leave, pension and life assurance, and employee perks.
Qualifications
- apprentice-trained or equivalent, conversant with electrical engineering disciplines
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience with overhead cranes/hoists preferred but essential in industrial environments
- 38-hour week, Mon-Fri, weekend overtime at double time
- Strong communication and safety awareness
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes
- Trouble-shoot equipment breakdowns
- Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues
- Complete documentation via mobile device
