Job summary
Konecranes Demag UK Ltd is seeking an electrically qualified Crane Service Engineer to join our team covering Liverpool, Warrington, or Manchester. You will perform maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes and engage with customers on safety and repair decisions.
The role requires apprentice-trained electrical discipline, mechanical knowledge, and valid driving licence, with overtime and on-call options. A company van is provided along with training and benefits.
Qualifications
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent in electrical engineering discipline.
- Mechanical knowledge and practical skills with cranes.
- Experience with overhead cranes and hoists preferred; essential in industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to restore operation quickly.
- Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues.
- Complete documentation via mobile device.
