Job summary

Konecranes in the North West seeks an electrically qualified Crane Service Engineer to join a regional team covering Liverpool, Warrington or Manchester. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to overhead gantry cranes, with a typical 39-hour week.

The position offers a competitive base and OTE £55k-£65k with paid overtime, travel time, a company van, pension, life assurance, income protection, generous leave, and on-call rotas.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained (or equivalent) with electrical engineering focus.
• Mechanical knowledge and hands-on problem solving.
• Safe working practices and health & safety awareness.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work at height and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on overhead travelling cranes.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and diagnose faults.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety issues.
• Complete documentation via mobile device.
