Job summary

Konecranes in the Middlesbrough area is seeking an electrically qualified Crane Service Engineer to join our team. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes and support customers on-site.

The role offers a competitive basic salary with an OTE (£55k-65k) including paid overtime and travel time, plus a company van, generous leave, pension and life assurance. Weekend overtime is paid at double time; there is an on-call enhanced premium.

Qualifications

Apprentice-trained and conversant with electrical engineering disciplines.
Mechanical knowledge required; supportive for crane maintenance.
Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.
Health and safety awareness essential in industrial environments.
Willingness to work on a rotating on-call schedule with enhanced premium.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes.
Trouble-shoot equipment breakdowns.
Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
Complete documentation via mobile device.
