Job summary

Towne Lifting is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Engineer to join our Hull team. You will inspect, service and maintain overhead cranes and hoists, diagnose faults, install Crane of the Future technology and support customers across the UK and Europe.

Ideal candidates have strong overhead crane experience, an electrical engineering qualification and solid fault-finding ability. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Strong overhead crane experience and fault-finding ability.
• Electrical engineering qualification required.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, servicing and maintaining overhead cranes, hoists and jib cranes.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Installing and supporting Crane of the Future technology.
• Explaining completed work and recommendations to customers.
• Identifying repairs and further work; advising on parts.
