Job summary

GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Engineer to join the Newcastle team during a growth phase. You will inspect, service and maintain cranes, diagnose faults, install Crane of the Future technology and explain recommendations to customers.

The role offers a competitive basic salary with overtime, call-out payments and profit share, plus a company van, iPad and a clear development path with training.

Qualifications

• You should have strong overhead crane experience and an electrical engineering qualification.
• Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, servicing and maintaining overhead cranes, hoists and jib cranes.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Installing and supporting Crane of the Future technology.
• Explaining completed work and technical recommendations to customers.
• Identifying repairs, replacement parts and further work.
