Job summary

Towne Lifting is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Engineer to join our Hull team. You will inspect, service and maintain overhead cranes and related equipment across Hull, Yorkshire and beyond, working with Crane of the Future technology.

The role offers a competitive basic salary with overtime and a profit-share scheme, plus company van and iPad. Training and development opportunities are available with potential travel across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Strong overhead crane experience required.
• Electrical engineering qualification is essential.
• Good fault-finding ability on electrical/mechanical systems.
• Safety-focused and able to work independently on site.
• Effective communication with customers and team members.
• Full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and maintain overhead cranes, hoists and jib cranes.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Install and support Crane of the Future technology.
• Explain completed work and provide technical recommendations to customers.
• Identify repairs, replacement parts and further work.
• Offer industry-leading service levels to clients.
