Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time clinic receptionist to provide a prompt and professional reception service in a busy outpatient setting. The role supports efficient appointment management across two hospital sites and offers a training programme and progression opportunities.

The post runs Wednesday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 with a one-hour lunch break. The ideal candidate will enjoy public interaction and delivering high-standard customer service in a clinic

Job description

To provide a prompt and professional clinic receptionservice to patients in line with office procedures, contributing to the overall efficient and effective running of the outpatient appointment function.

To manage the booking of designated follow up clinics and ensure that these are booked efficiently and that any booking issues are raised immediately with medical staff to ensure patient care is not compromised.
