Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Outpatient Bookings Team Leader for the General Surgery and Urology Outpatient Bookings Team at Frimley Park. This on-site role is based at Greenwood Offices, next to Heatherwood Hospital, and requires managing staff, maintaining SOPs, and ensuring efficient patient pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience in working within a team/office environment
• NHS experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Administrative experience
• Experience manipulating spreadsheets
• GCSE or equivalent education
• NVQ 3 in Business and Administration or NHS experience
• NVQ level 3 Admin or equivalent (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Manage staff on a day-to-day basis including induction, appraisal and initial performance management
• Support SOPs for staff and ensure compliance
• Support NHS targets and performance monitoring
• Respond promptly to administrative duties within the team
• Be multi-skilled and assist in all department areas as required
• Maintain strict confidentiality of correspondence
• Liaise with Clinical team and Service Manager to provide high-quality service
• Ensure capacity is fully utilised and escalate when demand exceeds capacity
• Attend specialty meetings as required
• Follow Trust policies and procedures at all times
• Use MS Office to support operational, administrative and reporting tasks
