NHS Scotland is inviting applications for a Patient Booking Service Officer, based at Belford Hospital, Fort William. The role supports the efficient booking, rescheduling and coordination of outpatient appointments to maximise clinic capacity and patient experience.

You will handle patient enquiries by phone and in person, maintain records, and work with clinical teams, using TrakCare PMS, MS 365, Outlook and Teams; full training provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience of administrative work.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work accurately in a busy environment.
• Good standard of general education including English and maths.

Responsabilités

• Book, reschedule and coordinate outpatient appointments to optimise clinic capacity and patient experience.
• Handle patient enquiries by telephone and face-to-face.
• Maintain accurate patient records and waiting list information.
• Generate patient correspondence and liaise with consultants, secretaries, and nursing/admin colleagues.
• Use digital systems including TrakCare PMS, MS 365, Outlook and Teams.
