Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking enthusiastic Outpatient Admin staff to join the Adult Therapies & Psychological Services CSU. Based at St James’s University Hospital with occasional site work, you will support outpatient clinics and patient administration.

You will handle referrals, reception duties, appointment arrangements, and data updates across systems, serving patients via face-to-face, telephone, and email channels.

Qualifications

• Literate / Numerate with GCSEs in Maths and English
• Adaptable and flexible in duties
• Strong customer care and communication skills
• Experience in admin/clerical work, preferably NHS
• Proficient with IT systems and office software

Responsibilities

• Process patient referrals and manage reception duties in clinical areas
• Support patients in arranging appointments and update Patient Administration systems
• Provide service to patients face-to-face, by phone, and via email
• Work across St James’s University Hospital and other site locations as needed
