Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust in Loughborough is seeking a Senior Health Care Assistant to join its outpatient team. You will support adult and paediatric patients, work with multiple clinics across Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Rheumatology, Diabetology, ENT and more, and help with documentation and IT systems.

The role requires strong communication, flexibility, and prior healthcare experience. You may work across Trust locations and various community sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience in a clinical setting.
• Ability to support clinicians across multiple outpatient clinics.
• Ability to perform observations, height/weight, BMI and ECGs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adult and paediatric patients across outpatient clinics.
• Support a broad range of specialties including Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Rheumatology, and ENT.
• Maintain accurate documentation and use IT systems effectively.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and a flexible, professional approach.
