Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is offering three Customer Service & Administration Apprenticeships in the Outpatient Administration Centre (OAC). You will gain NHS experience while working toward a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities include helping patients by telephone, email, and in person, booking and rescheduling appointments, and providing reception and admin support to outpatient clinics.

Qualifications

• No prior administration experience required.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
• On-the-job training towards a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Help patients by telephone, email and in person.
• Book, reschedule and cancel outpatient appointments.
• Support reception services and assist with patient enquiries.
• Provide administrative support to outpatient clinics.
