Job summary

Keys Activity & Intervention operates an activity-based residential home for 8-18 year olds facing social, emotional and mental health challenges. The role combines care work with adventurous outdoor activities in a centre-based setting, with overnight presence on 4 days and accommodation provided during shifts.

Ideal candidates are over 21 with a full UK driving licence, able to commit to 39 hours weekly and the shift pattern, and possess a willingness to develop qualifications through our QCF

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driver’s licence.
• Commitment to 39 hours per week with 4 days on / 7 days off, including sleep-ins.
• Support and care for children aged 8-18 in an activity-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing relationships with young people, providing emotional stability and daily care.
• Lead outdoor activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking.
• Support personal and social development through structured activities and daily routines.
• Collaborate with the team to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
• Ensure annual leave of 5.6 weeks and DBS checks are completed.
