Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Children’s Residential Activity Support Worker in Gloucester. The role combines care duties with adventurous outdoor activities in a residential setting for 8-18 year olds. Accommodation and meals are provided during your four working days.

You will lead activities like rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking while building trust and routine. Requires a full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driver’s license.
• Ability to work 39 hours per week on a 4 days on/7 days off shift including sleep-ins.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to provide daily care and emotional support to children.

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing relationships with young people and provide emotional stability.
• Lead outdoor activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, and walking.
• Support personal and social development through structured activities and day-to-day care routines.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to create a safe, caring environment.
