Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Children’s Residential Activity Support Worker in Gloucester. The role requires you to reside at the activity centre for four working days, providing consistent care and facilitating outdoor adventures for young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional and mental health challenges.

You will lead activities like mountain biking, rock climbing, walking and kayaking, while receiving accommodation and meals during your stay.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle - essential
• Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driver’s license
• Commitment to 39 hours per week with 4 days on, 7 days off, including sleep-ins

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing relationships with young people, providing emotional stability and daily care.
• Lead adventurous outdoor activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking.
• Ensure a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for the children.
• Support personal and social development through structured activities and routines.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver consistent support at the activity centre.
• Participate in a 12-week program designed to help youths gain confidence and skills.
