Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Senior Children's Activity Based Support Worker to join our Wrexham site. The role involves living at our activity centre during working days to provide consistent care for children aged 8–18, with accommodation and meals provided.

The position focuses on adventure and outdoor activities—rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking—while delivering daily care, emotional support and personal development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driver’s license.
• Ability to work 39 hours per week, following the 4 days on, 8 days off shift pattern, including sleep-ins.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing relationships with young people, providing emotional stability and daily care to help them thrive.
• Lead adventurous outdoor activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking.
• Support personal and social development through structured activities and day-to-day care routines.
• Work within a collaborative team to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children.
