Job summary

Newsquest Wales is seeking a driven Telephone Sales Executive to join the LOCALiQ Wales office-based sales team in Haverfordwest. You will make outbound calls to local businesses, introducing advertising solutions across digital, social, video, websites and print, operating in a proactive, target-driven environment.

You don't need media experience, but some sales experience and comfort speaking with customers on the phone are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in outbound calling and generating opportunities.
• Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
• Ability to meet and exceed targets in a phone-based role.
• Experience in an office, call centre or customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business through proactive outbound outreach.
• Meet clear financial targets and KPIs, aiming to exceed monthly revenue goals.
• Manage and grow existing client accounts with upsell opportunities.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using a consultative approach.
• Build long-term client relationships with expert advice and service.
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and delivery.
• Stay informed on industry trends and LOCALiQ product suite.
• Represent LOCALiQ professionally as a trusted regional brand ambassador.
