Job summary

Oxford Health is seeking an Urgent Care Coordinator to join the Out of Hours Service across Oxfordshire. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) on a rota that includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

You will lead a team of Driver and Receptionists, ensure smooth patient flow and effective service delivery across multiple bases. The role requires a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leader experience in healthcare.
• Full UK driving license with own vehicle for work travel.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and unsocial hours.
• Excellent communication and customer care in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with healthcare IT systems (Adastra) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the delivery of the Out of Hours Service.
• Line management for Driver and Receptionists; performance and rota management.
• Communicate clearly across shifts and locations.
• Respond to changing priorities in a busy, patient-focused environment.
• Assist Unit Manager and Clinical Leads; support ongoing training and development.
