Job summary

Spire Harpenden Hospital is seeking an experienced Perioperative Practitioner with scrub expertise to join our theatre team in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. This full-time role (37.5 hours) covers Monday–Friday with rotational weekends; HCPC or NMC registration required and a minimum of 2 years scrub experience in orthopaedics.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse (no restrictions).
• Minimum 2 years scrub experience (Orthopaedics).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full-time 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary planned care for patients during the perioperative stage.
• Assist in managing and organising care within the Scrub/Recovery team.
• Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Assess patient needs, implement and evaluate care plans.
