Job summary

CBRE UK is expanding its Human Capital Team and seeks a Director/Manager-level consultant to grow the organisation design offering and lead key engagements in the real estate and built environment sector. You will translate strategy into practical designs, lead complex client work, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in management consulting, internal consulting, or advisory roles.
• Strong experience delivering organisation design or operating model engagements.
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex organisational dynamics.
• Experience leading project teams and managing consulting engagements.
• Deep understanding of organisation design principles and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery.
• Commercially minded, with experience contributing to proposals or client development.
• Confident operating in ambiguity within a growing and evolving practice.
• Collaborative, thoughtful, and values-driven.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of organisation design engagements, from diagnostic through to implementation planning.
• Design and facilitate senior-level workshops (e.g. strategy-to-structure, operating model design, role clarity, decision rights).
• Translate business strategy into clear organisation structures, role definitions, governance models, data and metrics strategy, and ways of working.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including executives and functional leaders.
• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure high-quality, timely delivery across engagements.
• Apply organisation design principles across areas such as target operating models and organisation structures.
• Lead and mentor consultants and senior consultants on project teams.
• Contribute to the development of organisation design methodologies, tools, and points of view.
• Support business development through proposal development, scoping discussions, and client conversations.
