Job summary

CBRE UK is expanding its Organisation Design Consulting capability and seeks a Director/Manager-level consultant to lead complex client engagements across real estate and the built environment. You will drive delivery on organisation design engagements, manage project teams, mentor consultants, and contribute to business development for the growing practice, building trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in management consulting, internal consulting, or advisory roles.
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex organisational dynamics.
• Experience leading project teams and managing consulting engagements.
• Experience contributing to account growth through opportunity identification and driving business development for the practice.
• Experience delivering organisation design, organisational effectiveness or related consulting engagement is beneficial but not a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of organisation design engagements, from diagnostic through to implementation planning.
• Design and facilitate senior-level workshops (e.g. strategy-to-structure, operating model design, role clarity, decision rights)
• Translate business strategy into clear organisation structures, role definitions, governance models, data and metrics strategy, and ways of working
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including executives and functional leaders
• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure high-quality, timely delivery across engagements
• Apply organisation design principles across areas such as organisation structures and layering
• Accountability, decision rights, and governance
• Ways of working and collaboration models
• Balance conceptual rigour with practical, implementable solutions
• Support clients through change implications arising from organisation design work
• Lead and mentor consultants and senior consultants on project teams
• Provide day-to-day coaching, feedback, and quality assurance on deliverables
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture
• Contribute to the development of organisation design methodologies, tools, and points of view
• Support business development through proposal development, scoping discussions, and client conversations
• Share insights, learning, and emerging best practice across the practice
• Help shape the evolution of our organisation design offering within a growing consulting practice
