Job summary

CBRE UK is expanding its Organisation Design Consulting capability and seeks a Director/Manager-level consultant to lead complex client engagements across real estate and the built environment. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of organisation design engagements, from diagnostic through to implementation planning.
• Design and facilitate senior-level workshops (e.g. strategy-to-structure, operating model design, role clarity, decision rights)
• Translate business strategy into clear organisation structures, role definitions, governance models, data and metrics strategy, and ways of working
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including executives and functional leaders
• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure high-quality, timely delivery across engagements
• Apply organisation design principles across areas such as organisation structures and layering
• Accountability, decision rights, and governance
• Ways of working and collaboration models
• Balance conceptual rigour with practical, implementable solutions
• Support clients through change implications arising from organisation design work
• Lead and mentor consultants and senior consultants on project teams
• Provide day-to-day coaching, feedback, and quality assurance on deliverables
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture

About the Role

CBRE UK is expanding its Organisation Design Consulting capability and is seeking a Director/Manager-level consultant to lead complex client engagements focused on organisation design, organisational effectiveness and related business transformation challenges across the real estate and built environment sector.

This role is ideal for an experienced management consultant with a strong track record of leading complex client engagements, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and delivering high-quality advisory services. We are looking for an individual with strong consulting fundamentals, including structured problem solving, executive facilitation, programme leadership, stakeholder management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple engagements simultaneously, developing trusted client relationships, and contributing to business development and account growth activities. Experience delivering organisation design, organisational effectiveness, operating model, workforce, or transformation-related engagements would be advantageous, although deep specialisation in organisation design is not essential.

This role will play a key role in building and strengthening our organisation design practice. You will lead delivery on organisation design engagements, manage project teams, and contribute to the development of our growing practice. We welcome individuals who bring broader consulting experience and who are interested in applying their consulting toolkit to organisational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of organisation design engagements, from diagnostic through to implementation planning

About You
