Job Description

We’re hiring for a Senior Social Media Manager to support our organic social team at Wise for a 12-month fixed contract.

This role involves creating engaging content that resonates with audiences in Australia, Canada, and the US, and supporting the growth of local social media channels. The team is responsible for Wise’s social media strategy and presence to attract new audiences and drive customer growth.

You will work with dedicated content creators and social media executives to scale our presence and strategy in targeted markets by building and growing new localized social media pages.

Our vision is to be the most fun and entertaining finance brand on social media.

Your responsibilities

• Assist the social team lead in developing and executing strategies for key English-speaking markets
• Increase visibility, engagement, and audiences on new platform pages in target markets
• Create highly localized content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Coordinate with other teams on regional campaigns, making strategic decisions on social activation
• Contribute to monthly performance reports and narratives on platform growth
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure brand consistency and creative quality

Qualifications

Ideal candidate

• Stay updated with social media trends and react quickly to relevant moments
• Proven experience in creating high-reach content independently on a limited budget
• Track record of developing strategies that increase reach and engagement
• Strong knowledge of major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Experience with content creation tools like Figma
• Optional experience with video editing tools such as Capcut or Premiere Pro
• Excellent copywriting skills for engaging social content
