Job summary

Barclays UK is seeking an Organisation Effectiveness Specialist (AVP) in London or Glasgow to support the Organisation Simplification programme, designing simpler, better, and balanced structures. You will partner with Directors and HR leaders to drive end-to-end org design and organisational health initiatives.

The role focuses on preparing for AI adoption and ongoing agile rollout, with a 6-month contract. Hybrid working is expected, and collaboration with senior stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in transformation or org simplification programmes.
• Proven ability to lead with senior stakeholders including C-suite.
• Experience in a bank/financial services environment.
• Comfort with pivots due to leadership changes or AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end activities: Handle project management, org design, and implementation.
• Prepare for the future: Focus on AI implementation and rollout of agile ways of working.
• Collaborate across teams: Coordinate with HRBPs, Chief of Staff, external consultants and workforce change teams.
• Drive Org Health assessments: Monitor leading/lagging indicators and translate insights into action.
