Job summary

Barclays is seeking an Organisation Effectiveness Specialist (AVP) to support the Organisation Simplification programme in London or Glasgow on a 6-month contract. The role focuses on designing simpler, better, and balanced organisational structures, coordinating with HRBPs and senior stakeholders, and driving transformation initiatives including AI adoption and agile ways of working.

You will partner with the Director and Organisation Design Lead to remove barriers and enable faster

Qualifications

Experience in a top-tier consulting firm or internal Org Design role within a bank/financial services institution.
Proven track record on transformation, org simplification and productivity improvement.
Comfortable working with senior HR BPs, Directors, and MD-level stakeholders (C-Suite experience advantageous).
Adaptability to pivot focus due to leadership changes or AI adoption.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end activities: project management, org design, and implementation.
Prepare for the future: focus on AI implementation and agile ways of working rollout.
Collaborate across teams: coordinate with Business HRBPs, Business Management/Chief of Staff, external consultants, and workforce change teams.
Drive Org Health assessments: monitor leading/lagging indicators and translate insights into action.
