Job summary

HMRC is transforming at pace. The Future Workforce Design and Effectiveness team leads complex organisation design and development work to translate strategic priorities into effective operating models, organisation designs, and sustainable change.

You will collaborate with senior leaders and HR to move from strategy to practical, deliverable outcomes. This role requires comfort in ambiguity, strong consultancy and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive delivery across

• Proven experience leading complex organisation design interventions.
• Ability to translate strategy into operating models and designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex organisation design and development assignments from contracting to evaluation.
• Develop target operating models and organisation designs translating strategy into structures and governance.
• Design and deliver interventions to strengthen leadership, culture and collaboration.
• Partner senior leaders on design challenges including top-team effectiveness.
• Turn design decisions into practical implementation plans with milestones and ownership.
• Coordinate delivery across boundaries and manage risks and readiness.
• Use data and evidence to challenge assumptions and inform decisions.
