Job summary

Eaton Group's Eaton MSD Cheltenham is seeking a Customer Services Coordinator to support the Customer Services Department, ensuring that customer requirements are reflected throughout the manufacturing cycle.

You will process orders on the MRP system, issue order acknowledgements, handle enquiries, inform customers of production changes that affect delivery, and help compile status reports. The role emphasizes organisation and proactive service.

• Experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements and reflect them in the manufacturing cycle.
• Process orders on the MRP system after liaising with Production for achievable dates.
• Issue order acknowledgements reflecting company conditions of acceptance.
• Handle customer order enquiries in a responsive and professional manner.
• Inform customers of changes during production that affect delivery criteria.
• Assist in expediting information to meet customer requirements.
• Produce release and despatch paperwork reflecting original orders.
• Compile and issue regular order status reports.
• Regularly reconcile the MRP order book with customer demand.
• Support periodic reviews with customers.
• Issue quotations considering internal policies and approvals.
• Carry out other duties as requested by the Customer Service Manager.
