Job summary

Eaton MSD Cheltenham is seeking a Support Engineer to contribute to engineering delivery within a team, under guidance of senior staff, and in support of internal departments and external customers.

You will develop your skills, take ownership of tasks, and apply your knowledge to complex problems while remaining open to challenges beyond your area. The role emphasises collaboration, on-time delivery, documentation, and professional development in a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Ability to read and lay out drawings to BS and international standards.
• Awareness of electrical/electronic assembly handling and pneumatics.
• Design for manufacture and production processes awareness.
• Understanding of mechanical/electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions and solve problems within own discipline.
• Deliver engineering tasks on-time, on-quality, and on-budget under supervision.
• Provide on-the-job training to new team members.
• Write reports and present work at peer/design reviews.
• Support senior engineers and plan for professional development.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external customers.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and practices at all times.
• Carry out other duties as reasonably required by management.
