Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking an Order Processor to join their team in Stone. The successful candidate will manage customer orders, coordinate with warehouses, and ensure accurate documentation. Applicants should have proven experience in order processing and logistics, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in computer systems, ideally Sage.

  • Coordinate with external partners including warehouses and hauliers.

Job description

Location: Stone

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Rate: £12.30 per hour

Main Duties

  • Review and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Verify order information and handle special instructions appropriately
  • Accurately input order details into internal systems and hauliers' portals
  • Coordinate with external partners, including warehouses and hauliers
  • Communicate order status and updates to customers
  • Address and resolve order-related inquiries and issues
  • Maintain accurate stock records
  • Track order progress and provide timely updates to customers

About You

  • Proven experience in order processing and coordinating transport logistics
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent grammar; meticulous attention to detail (especially when reviewing emails)
  • Proficient in using computer systems, ideally with experience in Sage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
