Job summary

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an Oracle Business Change Manager to lead people change across the Oracle Fusion environment. You will drive adoption, optimise processes and engage stakeholders to maximise benefits across HR, Finance and Procurement.

You will collaborate with the Council's MSP and Oracle specialists to ensure changes meet organisational needs and align with best practice. This role focuses on change strategy, communication and measurable business benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing business change.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion.
• Experience working with suppliers and managing system-related change activities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and presentation skills.
• The ability to influence and motivate colleagues at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts.
• Experience developing communication, engagement and adoption strategies that deliver measurable business benefits.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering change management strategies that support Oracle programmes and projects.
• Engaging with stakeholders across the Council to understand requirements and build support for change.
• Leading communication and engagement activities to keep colleagues informed and involved.
• Driving user adoption through targeted communications, training and change interventions.
• Reviewing and improving business processes and workflows in line with Oracle best practice.
• Working collaboratively with technical teams, operational services and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes.
• Assessing and preparing the organisation for Oracle updates, releases and future developments.
