Job summary

Sandwell Council is seeking an experienced Oracle Systems Management Lead to own the Oracle Fusion platform, drive strategic delivery, performance and continuous improvement across a wide range of modules. The role acts as product owner to maximise value from Oracle technology and licensing.

You will oversee service performance, governance, supplier relationships and continuous improvement, coordinating with Finance, HR, Payroll and Digital Services to align with organisational priorities and

Qualifications

Experience leading Oracle Fusion modules (Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, EPM, Reporting, Risk).
Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
Proven experience in incident management, major incidents and service reviews.
Experience managing ERP suppliers and service delivery arrangements.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic ownership and leadership of the Council's Oracle Fusion platform.
Manage supplier relationships, performance, service reviews and escalations.
Lead major incidents, change management processes and release planning activities.
Oversee Oracle quarterly patching cycles, testing and business readiness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
Support governance, audit requirements and performance reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into Oracle solutions.
Lead and support teams to deliver excellent service outcomes.
