Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is recruiting an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Implementation Specialist for a 6-month contract in Coventry. The role focuses on Absence Management, Core HR, and Security configuration within a live Oracle Cloud Fusion programme.

You will configure Absence modules, document set-ups, and support wider Oracle Cloud transformation engagements. The position is hybrid with one onsite day per week in Coventry, ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Proven implementation experience of Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion Absence Management, Core HR and Security.
• Strong configuration skills in Fast Formula, Absence Type, Absence Plan and Absence Element build.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion Absence Management and Payroll integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cloud Fusion Absence Management, Core HR and Security configuration and query resolution.
• Configure applications to meet client requirements and document set-ups and data conversions.
• Support service requests, validation scripts, and test scenarios to enable successful deployments.
• Validate configuration and data across projects and communicate status with the project team.
• Support business during Payroll runs for Absence-related queries and reporting.

Oracle Cloud HCM Implementation Specialist - 6-Month Contract - Inside IR35 - (Coventry, 1 day onsite)

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management Consultant to deliver Absence, Core HR, and Security configuration across a live Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion programme. In this role, you'll provide solutioning and query resolution, configure Absence and Core HR modules to meet business requirements, and support wider Oracle Cloud transformation engagements within the account.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion Absence Management, Core HR, and Security query resolution and solution configuration, including Fast Formula, Absence Plan, and Absence Element creation
• Configure Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion applications to meet client requirements, documenting application set-ups and writing business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, and data conversions
• Support Oracle Service Requests through to resolution, and assist with validation scripts, test scenarios, and test script execution
• Validate configuration and data across Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion projects, interacting with the wider project team on reports, interfaces, and application extensions
• Support the business during Payroll runs for Absence-related queries, providing regular status and issue reporting to the project manager/client

What You Will Ideally Bring

• Proven implementation experience of Oracle HCM Cloud, including Absence Management, Core HR, and Security
• Strong configuration skills in Fast Formula, Absence Type, Absence Plan, and Absence Element build, plus Work Schedule Assignment creation and management
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion Absence Management, with awareness of how Absence integrates with the Oracle HCM Payroll module
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion Core HR and Security, including Enterprise Structure configuration, Position creation and management, and Workforce Structure maintenance
• Expert knowledge of UK Absence Legislation (Sickness, Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, Shared Parental Leave)
• Desirable, SQL, OTBI, and Oracle Cloud Fusion Benefits module experience
