Qualifications

• Strong Contracts Manager experience in social housing.
• Experience procuring and managing social housing contracts.
• Experience managing fire safety contracts and building safety projects.
• Knowledge of EWS, PAS 9980 and fire safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high-risk contracts and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and procure social housing contracts, with focus on fire safety.
• Oversee EWS investigations, FRAEWs, spandrel panels, façades and FRAs.
• Manage contractors, KPIs, budgets, costs and programme delivery.
• Lead tendering, specifications, evaluation, award and mobilisation.
• Handle contractual disputes, legal claims and risks.
• Support Cladding Safety Scheme and funding applications.
• Collaborate with residents, contractors, consultants and senior stakeholders.

Job description

Work Pattern: 2 days in the office, 36 hours a week

PAYE Pay Rate: £323.02 per day

Main Purpose:
Manage high-risk building safety and fire safety contracts across a large residential housing portfolio, ensuring effective delivery, compliance, cost control and contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and procure social housing contracts, particularly fire safety contracts.
• Oversee EWS investigations, FRAEWs, spandrel panels, façades and FRAs.
• Manage contractors, KPIs, budgets, costs and programme delivery.
• Lead tendering, specifications, evaluation, award and mobilisation.
• Manage contractual disputes, legal claims and risks.
• Support Cladding Safety Scheme and other funding applications.
• Work with residents, contractors, consultants, legal teams and senior stakeholders.

Essential Experience:

• Strong Contracts Manager experience.
• Experience procuring and managing contracts within social housing.
• Experience managing fire safety contracts.
• Housing/building safety/construction experience.
• Knowledge of EWS, PAS 9980 and fire safety.
• Experience managing complex, high-risk projects and contractors.
