Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a diverse team and deliver an exceptional customer journey. You will work closely with the Store Manager to implement the commercial plan, drive growth, and support clinical activities from patient pre-screening to dispensing and accuracy checks.

In this role you will manage rotas, conduct return-to-work reviews and performance management, while taking part in Boots’ Step into Optics training and leadership development programs to advance

Qualifications

• GOC registered and eligible to practice in the UK.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and patient interactions.
• Desire to learn and develop clinical knowledge.
• Experience leading or coaching a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to deliver an exemplary customer journey.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver the commercial plan and drive business growth.
• Participate in customer service, store operations and clinical activities including patient pre-screening, dispensing and accuracy checks.
• Manage rotas, performance reviews and other management tasks to support team development.
