Boots Opticians is hiring an Optical Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers in store. You will greet customers, participate in pre-screening activities, and help them find the perfect eyewear solution while building strong relationships.

You will benefit from the industry-leading Step Into Optics training programme, on-the-job experience, and opportunities for career development within Boots Opticians. Interviews are conducted in-store within the next two weeks.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care and helping people find the right eyewear.
• Enthusiasm for learning and personal development within optics.

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses.
• Support eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Provide aftercare through repairs and adjustments.
• Handle dispensing prescriptions and complete admin tasks.
• Maintain shop floor standards and presentation.
