Specsavers in Royston is seeking an Optical Assistant to join our friendly team. You’ll be the approachable face for customers while assisting with dispensing and everyday optical tasks.

We’re looking for someone with prior optical experience and a passion for delivering excellent service. The role is full-time (40 hours/week), with perks such as a salary of £27,000–£29,000 (experience dependent), a performance bonus, and extra paid birthday leave.

Formación

• Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to explain products clearly.
• Willingness to learn and grow with in-store training.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers in-store and support dispensing as needed.
• Maintain product knowledge and brand standards across the shop floor.
• Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming store environment.
• Handle basic IT/poS systems per store procedures.

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

• Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 (Depending on Experience)
• Full Time - 40 hours per week including weekend working

Experience level: Previous Optical experience required
