Job summary

Specsavers Newbury is seeking an Optical Assistant to welcome and assist customers with confidence. You’ll join a team that provides extensive training and development across optical and related services, with strong support from experienced Opticians and Technicians.

A focus on delivering excellent customer care in a busy environment is essential. We offer full-time hours (37.5/week) with part-time consideration, plus a benefits package including pension auto-enrollment, Specsavers Perks,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with optical products and services as they walk through the store.
• Support qualified staff with daily tasks and product demonstrations.
