Job summary

Specsavers in Workington is hiring an Optical Assistant to welcome and assist customers with care. You’ll join a supportive team and benefit from comprehensive training and development across optics and audiology, with guidance from experienced Opticians and Technicians.

There is flexibility between full-time (38.75 hours) and part-time roles, including weekend days. A competitive hourly rate and staff perks await you in a friendly store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with their optical needs.
• Support customers through the shopping journey and explain products and services.
• Collaborate with Opticians and Technicians to provide excellent service.
